About us Learn the story of how Dead Zone Revive was created Discord server and its history On August 28, 2023, the "The Last Stand: Dead Zone Revival"  Discord server  was created, where several fans of the game planned and explored the possibility of recreating a version of the game. With effort, they managed to obtain the game's assets, but they needed people to recreate the game from scratch (for example: a server that replicates and understands the logic of the game client), and in this area, there wasn't much progress. On February 17, 2024, a user named "SC-Sulivan" joined the Discord server announcing that he would take charge of reviving the game, and over time he became the main developer of Dead Zone Revive. In 2025, they achieved the milestone of getting past the game's loading screen, giving hope that the progress was truly significant. On July 25, 2025, ConArtist became aware of the project through several requests and gave Sulivan permission to continue developing it. Later, on November 19, 2025, ConArtist and Sulivan (under the name of his company called "Switch Compagnie") reached a legal agreement called a "Fan Project License" which made the project 100% official and legal. One of these agreements was that we could not use the name "The Last Stand" in the project, which led to the project being renamed to "Dead Zone Revive". In 2026, it would be known that an alpha would begin on March 10 and the final version would be planned for August 3. Permissions This page is dedicated to documenting the authorizations we have for the project. For readers and players who want to verify the facts in more detail, please access our official Discord server . Project In July 2025, Chris Condon, known as Con, of Con Artist Games, authorized us to proceed with the project to revive the game, provided we met the requirement of not monetizing it.  Figure 1 Figure 2 Source: Figure 1 Con sharing his vision on the project and his authorization. With all three entities signing (Con Artist Games Pty Ltd, Armor Games Studios Inc, and Switch Compagnie), the project is now officially licensed, provided it meets certain requirements: The title “The Last Stand” is completely forbidden in all contexts — including titles, tags, descriptions, promotional materials, or any other form of public communication; The official project name, to be used across all platforms and communications, is: Dead Zone Revive; All logos, banners, and visual assets must be 100% original, with no reuse or modification of any existing official artwork or branding elements; The following disclaimer must be included in every public post, indefinitely: “Dead Zone Revive is a not-for-profit fan-run project, in agreement with Con Artist Games.”; All forms of monetization remain strictly prohibited; Donations are allowed solely to cover server costs, and must not provide: rewards, perks, benefits or incentives. Wiki For organizational purposes and to separate the Dead Zone Revive project from the title "The Last Stand," community user Gabriel shared the idea of having its own wiki. With Sulivan's authorization, the wiki was created on November 20, 2025, on the condition that he be considered one of the administrators of the Dead Zone Revive Wiki community. With the death of browser-supported flash at the end of 2020,  Con Artist Games ' title The Last Stand: Dead Zone was taken offline. However, with permission of  Con Artist Games and  Armor Games , developer  Sulivan of  Switch Compagnie is bringing the game back to life. The Revive will retain most of the assets and features of the original game, but alterations will be made for the purposes of adhering to the agreed upon "Fan Project License," as well as for potential player requests. Most notably, the game will lack ''The Last Stand'' branding and any monetization will be removed. However, users can still donate to the project to support server costs by using Sulivan's "Buy Me a Coffee" page linked below. See the About page for more information on the history and terms of the revival. An early version of the game is downloadable as its own executable on IndieDB ,  Game Jolt , and  itch.io . As the build is incomplete and work is ongoing, expect to encounter connection errors and gameplay bugs. These will be fixed in due time. A test date planned for March 10, 2026, with later postings on Steam and  Epic Games in the works as well.  Links Official Website Official Discord Donation page Wiki for the original game Download Pages IndieDB Game Jolt itch.io (currently flagged as suspicious)
