Likely the first shotgun the player obtains, it is a large improvement over the handguns available before then. However, its poor stats in categories other than damage and knockback means it should be used as part of a team, where its wielder supports and is supported by the other survivors.

However, its short effective range, relatively slow attack/reload speed and limited magazine means it is best used as part of a team, supporting and being supported by other survivors.

A powerful weapon capable of killing or badly wounding most zombies with just a single blast, which is compensated by the fact that it only has two shots before needing to reload, though that is done relatively quickly. Combined with its short effective range, however, it is very likely that its wielder will end up swarmed if alone.

A double-barreled hunting shotgun reconfigured into classic (and illegal) "Lupara" fashion. The shortened barrel ensures loud and messy results by widening the spread of shot, but also reduces its deadliness beyond close range.  
A custom firearm fashioned mostly by criminals and ranch owners.</p>

It features a fully automatic double-barreled shotgun on a chainsaw-style grip to ease control when firing, though it does restrict the shooter to a hip-firing position. This makes it a highly effective assault weapon, at the cost of accuracy when aiming at targets at a distance.  
Various SWAT have employed the weapon due to its favorable performance characteristics SWAT teams, and HERC has made use of the design as well.

A switch behind the grip controls which magazine is used, while both are loaded from a port on the bottom of the stock, which also doubles as an ejection port.
