BACKGROUND:
A basic vehicle repair tool, the design is a simple ratchet and crowbar combo meant to unfasten tire bolts, and can double as a primitive club in emergencies. The term "tire iron" is occasionally and mistakenly used to refer to the far more common "lug wrench," which is also the case here.
