Research

Research is a mechanic in the Dead Zone Revive.

It allows players to use their excess resources to apply passive bonuses to their entire compound such as storage capacity, barrier health, or survivor damage.

Players can start researching once they have built a Research Bench. All research projects have a base fuel cost plus the consumption of Research Notes to start, and takes 22 hours to finish. More advanced projects will need an increasing amount of specific Research Components plus other miscellaneous items.
